Job PurposeThe Test Engineer Co-op will support the Product Validation team in Wichita, KS, focusing on Skid Steers and Compact Track Loaders. This role provides hands‑on experience validating component and vehicle system performance, reliability, and durability through lab and field testing. The co‑op will work closely with engineers to analyze results, identify improvement opportunities, and support product quality and development objectives.
Key Responsibilities- Analyzes lab test and field test results and performs failure analyses.
- Coordinate activities in the field to gather data relevant to equipment operations.
- Prepares reports of test results, identifies potential adjustments to component dimension (size, strength, material, etc) and makes recommendations to design engineering in order to enhance overall product quality.
- Utilize engineering principles, practices, calculations, and judgment to make recommendations that contribute to the engineering and manufacturing objectives for specific products.
Candidates must be pursuing (at minimum) a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Agricultural Engineering, or a relevant engineering field.
Candidates must be a current student during the co‑op program.
Pay TransparencyThe annual salary for this role is USD $19.57 - $38.11 plus any applicable bonus (Actual salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as skill, experience and qualification for the role.)
