Position SummaryThe Structural Analysis Stress Engineer will apply engineering and physical science principles to design, analyze, and evaluate aircraft structures for performance, manufacturability, cost efficiency, and regulatory compliance. The role focuses on primary and secondary structures, payloads, and fuselage components, requiring proficiency in metallic design, CATIA, and ENOVIA. Маниатк« candidates should have recent commercial aircraft structures experience within the last 10 years, including aerospace structures, product development, and new design work.
Experience with commercial OEMs is preferred, and a minimum of a bachelor’s degree in engineering is required. Only non‑cleared candidates should be submitted.
- Apply knowledge of engineering and physical science principles, materials, and tools in a collaborative environment to develop, integrate, document, and evaluate flight vehicle structure designs for performance, functional adequacy, cost effectiveness, manufacturability, and compliance with customer and regulatory requirements.
- Areas of expertise may include primary and secondary structure design, payloads design, weights, and lofting.
- Metallic design. Proficient with using CATIA and design processes.
- ENOVIA experience
- Experience working on program / fuselage structures.
- Recent commercial structures experience (in the last 10 years) with primary structures experience
- Applicants with engineering degrees are strongly preferred over a drafter/tech product designer
- Specialization isn’t what I am looking for but he wants to see people with aero structures, product development and new design.
- He's also looking for commercial OEM experience.
- Must have a minimum of a bachelor's degree.
