Senior Roadway Engineer – WSP USA
OverviewWSP USA is seeking a Civil/Roadway Engineer to join our Transportation team in the Wichita, KS office. This is an opportunity to design complex and impactful transportation projects in Kansas.
Your Impact- Lead tasks and design teams in project execution.
- Provide technical expertise in preliminary design, final design, and contract documentation, including cost estimates and specifications.
- Discuss and propose solutions to technical issues during design.
- Maintain positive team and client relationships.
- Collaborate with key staff across disciplines (e.g., drainage, structures) as required.
- B.S. in Civil Engineering or closely related field from an accredited university.
- 5+ years of experience in the Transportation engineering field.
- Professional Engineer’s License in Kansas.
- Hands‑on experience in Open Roads Designer.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word and Excel).
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Master’s Degree in Engineering.
- Experience managing small to mid‑size projects.
