Business Development Engineer

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparation of initial techno-commercial offer to client and preliminary design and final scope of work in coordination with design consultant and UAE engineering.
• Carry out lifecycle cost analysis for the projects in coordination with OEMs and design consultants.
• Attend client meetings and participate in technical discussions and negotiations to resolve issues.
• Collaborate with UAE Projects and O&M teams and India business development team.
• Prepare cost estimates for civil/architectural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing and control systems.
• Liaise with OEMs and technical groups to incorporate best-in-class cost/energy efficient technologies and innovation.
• Conduct technical site due diligence along with design consultants and UAE team as part of Merger & Acquisition of projects.
• Undertake environment and social due diligence for greenfield and M&A projects with external consultants.
• Maintain proper documentation procedures as per ISO standards and upload technical/project documents to server.
• Complete technical feasibility, costing, design, preliminary design and Scope of Work promptly.
• Resolve technical issues with clients and coordinate with UAE technical team.
• Establish realistic project estimates and adopt innovative technologies.
• Carry out detailed design of HVAC projects in coordination with design consultant and UAE engineering.
• Review PFDs, PIDs, MSDs, data sheets and provide comments for completeness.
• Develop technical specifications for Equipment/EPC/EPCM packages and review specifications from Consultant / Client / PMC.
