About the Job: CarePoint’s Emergency Medicine Division is seeking Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Emergency Physicians to join a well-established, democratic, physician-led group in Wichita, Kansas. Our team provides emergency care across a system of five Emergency Departments throughout the region.
This role offers a unique opportunity to be faculty for the new Emergency Medicine Residency through KU School of Medicine Wichita Campus, opening July 2026.
Requirements- Board-certified or eligible in Emergency Medicine.
- Newly graduated EM physicians and J-1 Visa applicants are encouraged to apply.
CarePoint staffs all five ED locations within the Wesley Healthcare system.
- Wesley Medical Center:
- ACS Level I Trauma Center and Comprehensive Stroke, STEMI, and Chest Pain Center.
- Dedicated Pediatric ED.
- 60,000+ annual ED visits.
- Wesley Woodlawn Hospital:
- Busy Community Hospital with Cath Lab and ICU.
- 29,000 annual ED visits.
- Wesley West FSED:
- Freestanding Emergency Department
- 27,000 annual ED visits.
- Wesley Derby FSED:
- Freestanding Emergency Department
- 18,000 annual ED visits.
- Wesley Andover FSED:
- Opened Spring 2025.
- Averaging 18 ADC
- Compensation: Competitive annual compensation totaling over $400K+.
