Combination of 8 and 24-hour shifts on 7-week rotating schedule. 1.0 FTE does approximately 170 hours per month of in-house coverage
Neonatologists provide in-house call and backup call from home Level-III, 60-bed NICU6,000 deliveries each year at the hospital
The intensive and special care units average around 1,000 admissions annually, with an average daily census of 54
All services except ECMO and heart surgery
Supported by residents and nurse practitioners
Affiliated with KU School of Medicine - Wichita, offers extensive QI and research opportunities
