  Evenings, weekends, and holidays per monthly call schedule
• Weekday daytime (8:00 AM–4:00 PM)
• Weekend on-call (24-hour shifts)
• Holiday coverage (day + night)

• Phone within 15 minutes; on-site within 60 minutes

• Patient Demographics:
  Adult and Geriatric Veterans
• Patient Volume/Census:
  Approximately 8 patients per clinic session plus inpatient consults
• Case Mix:
  Acute kidney injury, chronic kidney disease, end-stage kidney disease, dialysis management, transplant follow-up, electrolyte disorders, hypertension

• No. of Beds in Department: TBD
• Trauma Level: Not Designated
• Specialty Backup Available:
  Multispecialty support available on site
• Support Staff Available: RNs and interdisciplinary facility clinical staff

• Temporary Privileges Available:
  Yes
• Credentialing Timeline:
  Approximately 30–90 days

• Hemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis oversight
• Kidney biopsy as privileged

• Licenses:
  Active, unrestricted medical license in any U.S. state or territory
• Board:
  Board Certified or Board Eligible in Nephrology
• Experience:
  
  Recent graduates up to four years or experienced providers accepted
  
  Duties & Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive inpatient and outpatient nephrology care
  • Manage dialysis therapies and kidney replacement treatments
  • Participate in on-call coverage including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Perform consultative services and procedures within granted privileges
  • Document all care in the electronic health record and comply with agency policies
