Job Site Superintendent-Civil Division – Dondlinger & Sons Construction Co. Inc.

Location:

Wichita, Kansas Metropolitan Area

Salary: $110,000 - $150,000 per year (or $65 - $75 per hour)

Responsible for supervising on‑site personnel and subcontractors, ensuring construction projects meet contractual, safety, and quality standards.

• Manage day‑to‑day operations on construction sites, including scheduling and coordinating labor and equipment.
• Review plans, specifications, and contracts to confirm scope and compliance.
• Apply knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations to ensure projects meet required standards.
• Maintain accurate job costing, scheduling, and estimating using relevant software.
• Ensure site safety and adherence to company and regulatory policies.
• Communicate progress and issues to project management and clients.

• Solid background in building/civil construction science, business, and management.
• Related work experience within the construction industry.
• Ability to understand contracts, plans, and specifications.
• Knowledgeable about construction methods, materials, and regulations.
• Familiarity with computers and software programs for job costing, scheduling, and estimating.
• Experience as a construction craft worker.
• Strong leadership and supervisory skills for on‑site staff and subcontractors.
