Job Title:

Inventory Specialist

Dondlinger Construction is searching for an Inventory Specialist that is organized, meticulous and a proactive self-starter. This role is responsible for inventory control, keeping accurate records within an ERP system, and auditing asset reports.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain up-to-date inventory records of all company assets, including heavy equipment, vehicles, power tools, and materials.
  • Input and track inventory data using the company’s ERP system (Viewpoint).
  • Coordinate with Shop Foreman, field supervisors, and mechanics to ensure proper tracking of company assets.
  • Conduct regular physical audits of inventory and reconcile/report any discrepancies.
  • Prepare inventory reports for leadership on a regular basis.
  • Support maintenance tracking and scheduling for equipment and vehicles.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards, company policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Additional tasks as assigned by the Shop Foreman.
Necessary Skills
  • Previous experience in inventory control or fleet management is preferred (experience in the construction or industrial sector is a plus).
  • Must have strong analytical and organizational skills.
  • High attention to detail with the ability to identify trends and discrepancies.
  • Ability to work independently; must be self-motivated and able to stay on task.
  • Must have a valid Drivers License.
Preferred Skills
  • Experience in the construction industry is highly preferred but not required.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish preferred) – ability to communicate with a diverse team is a plus.
