Analyst - Methanol

Koch Ag & Energy Solutions (KAES) is seeking an Analyst to join the Methanol finance team as the dedicated business partner. In this role, you will integrate with the business to provide financial analysis needed to support sound decision‑making.

This position is is located at our Wichita, KS headquarters. The ideal candidate will partner effectively across functions and communicate clearly with a diverse range of stakeholders and capabilities. They will demonstrate a strong capacity to learn quickly and adapt to evolving business needs. Additionally, the candidate should exhibit a strong sense of ownership while embracing a team‑first mindset.

• Serve as a primary finance partner to Methanol, supporting business initiatives and core financial operations.
• Apply economic thinking and a trading mindset to frame opportunities, evaluate risk, and support commercial decision‑making.
• Ensure financial accuracy and integrity across monthly close, reporting, and key performance indicators to support accurate reporting and timely insights.
• Support decision‑making through forecasting, planning, and performance tracking efforts with an emphasis on clarity and actionability.
• Develop a deep understanding of the business, including profit drivers, industry context, and market fundamentals.
• Collaborate across KAES capabilities‑including finance, accounting, IT, commercial, and logistics‑to align priorities and drive results.
• Leverage new analytical tools and techniques to support evolving business needs.

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or other business‑related field
• 1+ years of experience in finance, analytics, accounting or business support roles
• Experience in financial analysis or other roles that demonstrate a solid understanding of financial concepts, measures, and economic thinking
• Experience applying data analysis and visualization tools such as Excel, Power BI, Tableau, Alteryx, SQL, etc.

• Experience using advanced analytics tools (Python, AI Copilots, LLMs, etc.) to generate insights and automate workflows.
• Background in a business / customer facing role.
• Proven cross‑functional collaboration across areas such as IT, logistics, or commercial.
