Work Schedule: Part-Time:
No more than 1,000 hours a year.

ResponsibilitiesFront desk/reception duties and first point of contact with the public. Assists candidates and voters. Assists with processing and fulfilling all advance by mail requests and maintaining the current advance by mail voter list. Assists with data entry of voter registration records for Sedgwick County.
- Greet and interact with the public in a courteous and professional manner
- In-person and phone contact with the public
- Assist candidates and voters filing election related forms
- Process payments for candidate filings and data orders
- May drive to polling places, ballot drop boxes, or post office to support office and election needs
Advance Voting
- Process and fulfill advance ballot requests
- Proofing advance ballot requests
- Advance voter list maintenance
- Records maintenance (scanning and filing of records)
Voter Registration List Maintenance
- Proofing voter registration documents
- Process paper and motor voter registrations
High school diploma or equivalent, or student in good standing
- Ability to operate various standard office machines
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
- Cyber Security Training within the first 30 days of employment
- Possess the qualifications to become a registered voter
- Per Sedgwick County Policy, this is a driving level position that requires a valid US driver’s license without restrictions and current proof of automobile insurance
6 months of reliable work experience
- Ability to operate various standard office machines including high-speed printers and mailing equipment
- Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
