DescriptionThis position is responsible for facilitating various types of business letters, forms, agreements, and documents, and assisting employee-owners in performance of tasks. This may mean transcribing dictated/recorded notes, typewritten notes, or proof and format another person’s word-processed documents. This position requires a team player with a strong customer service orientation. The ideal candidate will pitch in willingly as needed to help in the work of other administrative staff.
Responsibilities- Provide word processing support using Microsoft Word (2016 or newer)
- Contract preparation, primarily done in ACD5 software.
- E-mail correspondence
- Prepare meeting minutes from handwritten, typed, or dictated notes.
- Letters and other correspondence
- Electronic filing of documents
- Packaging for mail, freight, or messenger delivery
- Provide phone/front desk back-up as necessary
- Attend division meetings and keep track of schedules, necessary documents, etc.

Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities- Typing proficiency with standard QWERTY keyboard.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word (2016 or newer) and Excel (2016 or newer)
- Familiarity with Microsoft Project is preferred.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills using the English language

An employee shall not pose a direct threat to the health or safety of other individuals in the workplace.
Requirements- 2–4 proven years of experience in similar roles is preferred.
- Applicants with experience in the built environment will be given preference.
- Typing speed minimum of 60 words-per-minute with a minimum accuracy level of 90 percent.
- Able and willing to complete the following required pre-employment assessment exams in:
- Typing
- Microsoft Word
- Spelling/grammar
- Proofreading
