Hall’s Culligan Water and Prairie Fire Coffee has an immediate opening for an Accounts Payable Specialist at our corporate office in Wichita, KS. Our family of companies employs over 1,000 people across 12 states in nearly 60 locations.
The Accounts Payable Specialist plays a vital role in the Accounting/Finance department which will include full-cycle accounts payable duties, and handling payables from multiple entities and locations within the organization. This position must have the ability to embrace change and adapt quickly as we grow and enhance our processes.

- Coordinate and perform all aspects of the accounts payable life cycle
- Route invoices to proper personnel for approval based on location and invoice type
- Input/upload invoices into the payable systems in an accurate and timely manner
- Provide check and ACH payments to vendors according to payment terms
- Communicate with vendors/external customers regarding any discrepancies with invoices/billing statements
- Communicate with internal customers regarding invoice approvals
- Ensure that no penalties accrue for late payments
- Protect organization by keeping information confidential
- Assist in all company financial responsibilities as assigned by supervisor
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Previous Accounts Payable experience required; candidates with Accounts Receivable or other relevant accounting experience may be considered based on comparability of experience.
- Experience handling multi-entity and multi-location payables preferred
- Excellent organizational skills
- Strong communication, customer service skills, and professionalism
- Excellent data entry and attention to detail
- Strong computer skills with a proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Ability to grasp new programs with ease
- Ability to multi-task and work in a team environment
