ASRC Federal Gulf State Constructors is seeking a Carpenter, Maintenance in support of our Sheppard AFB Base Operations Support Contract Located in Wichita Falls, TX.
OverviewPerforms all types of carpentry and masonry work, rough carpentry, finish carpentry, form making, tile laying, block and brick laying, cabinet making, suspended ceiling installation and repair, wood and metal fence installation and repair, etc. Provides carpenter support for other Vectrus shops and agencies on the Installation.
Responsibilities- Uses engineering planning standards to determine man hours, materials, and skills required to perform all planned work orders.
- Identifies all shops required to perform the work order and coordinates with shop supervisors/lead and production control to schedule work.
- Determines if specialized skills are required to complete work orders and identifies potential subcontractors.
- Generates a bill of materials in the civil engineering material acquisition system for each work order.
- Performs facility assessments.
- Assists quality department with quality assessments.
- Assists self help customers with planning and documentation requirements.
- Supports damage assessments during exercises and real emergencies.
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license
- Five (5) years construction experience
- Must be a US or Permanent Citizen due to contract requirements
- Associate’s degree in construction or engineering related field
- Construction planning experience
- Air Force or DoD experience
Pay Rate: $30.79 per hour
Work Center: CE Operations Facilities Infrastructure Shop
