Salary: $70, per year

Chartwells Higher Education is re‑inventing the on‑campus dining experience. As the Campus Executive Chef, you will oversee kitchen operations while maintaining a safe and sanitary environment, directing meal preparation in accordance with corporate programs, and leading the dining programs and catering services at Midwestern State University.

• Plan regular and modified menus according to established guidelines.
• Complete and implement daily production worksheets and waste logs.
• Supervise and mentor chefs, cooks, and other team members.
• Ensure implementation of culinary standards, including recipe compliance and food quality.
• Manage inventory of food and non‑food supplies.
• Adhere to federal, state, and local health and sanitation regulations.
• Forecast annual food and labor costs and monitor actual financial results.
• Foster strong client relationships to align programs with objectives.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• B.S. in Culinary Arts, Food Services Technology/Management, or related field; or A.O.S. in Culinary Arts or culinary certificate.
• Minimum of 3‑5 years progressive culinary/kitchen management experience.
• Extensive catering experience a plus.
• High‑volume, complex food service operations experience.
• Institutional and batch cooking experience.
• Hands‑on chef experience.
• Comprehensive knowledge of food and catering trends with focus on quality, production, sanitation, food cost controls, and presentation.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Outlook, E‑mail, Internet.
• Willingness to participate in patient satisfaction programs.
• Serv Safe certification highly desirable.
