Full‑time:
Monday‑Friday 8:00 am–3:00 pm or 3:00 pm–9:00 pm. Part‑time:
Monday‑Friday and weekends 8:30 am–2:30 pm or 3:30 pm–9:00 pm. (Exact schedules discussed at interview.)

Pay: $11.50–$12.75 hourly.

Perform cashiering duties and general food service work while maintaining sanitation standards in preparation, service, and dining areas.

• Perform prep work such as washing, peeling, cutting, and seeding fruits and vegetables; weigh and measure designated ingredients.
• Carry pans, kettles, and trays of food to and from work stations, stove, and refrigerator in accordance with safety standards.
• Distribute supplies, utensils, and portable equipment.
• Store foods in designated areas in accordance with wrapping, dating, and food‑safety and rotation procedures.
• Clean work areas, equipment, and utensils.
• Ensure compliance with sanitation and safety requirements.
• Use approved food recipes and production standards to ensure proper quality, serving temperatures, and standard portion control.
• Serve customers in a friendly, efficient manner following outlined steps of service.
• Interact with customers and resolve customer complaints in a friendly, service‑oriented manner.
• Relate relevant information to supervisor.
• Perform sales transactions.
• Enter sales into the cash register to ensure purchases are accurately recorded.
• Make change, accept cards and other acceptable forms of payment.
• Issue receipts to customers.
• Follow standard procedures for issuing cash refunds.
• Manage cash drawer; ensure compliance with overage/shortage standards.
• Replenish condiments, beverages, and general supplies while maintaining service area cleanliness.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Prior experience operating cash registers.
• Customer service experience.
• Food Handler certification.

Because this position requires you to perform services in an educational facility, there may be periods when the Company does not require you to perform work (such as winter and summer breaks when food service needs decline or cease). Any such periods during which you do not perform work on the Company’s behalf may be unpaid and deemed a temporary layoff.

However, depending on business needs, you may be required to work year‑round, potentially at a different location during break periods. Business needs may vary from year to year.
