We are seeking a Family Nurse Practitioner for a 36-day locum tenens assignment in Texas, starting Mar 2, 2026. This opportunity features 12-hour shifts in an urgent care setting, with a schedule spanning Monday to Saturday, 8 am to 8 pm, and Sunday, 12 pm to 8 pm. The ideal candidate will have 3-6 years of experience in family practice, emergency medicine, or urgent care, and must be comfortable treating children under 3 months old.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Provide patient care in a typical urgent care environment
• Close lacerations and perform incision and drainage procedures
• Read and interpret X-rays and EKGs
• Treat patients of all ages, including infants younger than 3 months
• Work with occupational health and workers' compensation cases
• DOT certification experience is a plus

Additional Information

• Active Texas license required
• Board certification in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Urgent Care required
• 3-6 years of relevant clinical experience preferred
• Must demonstrate strong skills in urgent care procedures and patient management
