Howmet Aerospace’s Wichita Falls, TX facility has an opening for a Wax NDI Operator.
MUST BE ABLE TO WORK 12 HOUR ROTATING NIGHT SHIFTS, 7:00 P.M TO 7:00 A.M. (2 on 2 off, 3 on 2 off, 2 on 3 off)
Hourly pay rate begins at $21.27 (plus $1.00 shift differential for night shifts). The hourly pay rate at 9 months will be $26.40

JOB SUMMARY:
NDI operators are responsible for the following skills:
Inspection, Engraving, Wall Gauge, X‑Ray (GE/DR). Trainees must successfully complete written and practical assessment of skills/knowledge at end of skills training.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Basic Computer Applications
- Must be able to read and interpret Product Criteria (PC) and Activity Instructions (AI).
- Must be able to function as a member of a team and be able to work under general supervision.
- Must be able to maintain expected quality levels.
- Comply with all site required policies and procedures including but not limited to: EHS, Quality, Code of Conduct and the Wichita Falls Employee Handbook.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
PHYSICAL DEMANDS/EQUIPMENT USED
- Stair climbing.
- Reaching near, far and overhead.
- Pushing pulling, twisting and handling.
- Be able to lift from floor-to-waist, waist-to-chest and chest-to-overhead.
- Be able to finger press, use a keyboard, mouse and tolerate hand/arm vibration.
- Gripping and Pinching.
- Carry items with two hands.
- Carry items with one hand.
- Work requires moderate physical effort including prolonged standing.
- Squatting/crouching/bending when retrieving stored items from lower shelves, moving equipment and product inspections.
- Lifting >5 lbs.
- Must pass Jaeger I eye exam.
- Each level takes minimum of 90 Days.
- Pass written and proficiency test for each skill set.
- Completed Training Folder.
- Works in air‑conditioned area.
- Slight exposure to chemicals, fumes, oil, dust, noise and heat or cold.

QualificationsQUALIFICATIONS:
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
- Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience working in a manufacturing environment.
- Basic Computer skills.
- Knowledge of Wax Operations.
