Floor Tech Cleaner

** Overview*
* We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Floor Technician to join our team for the M-F shift (2:30p-8:30p). The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of Blue Cross Blue Shield floors using specialized equipment and cleaning techniques. This role is essential to ensuring a safe, sanitary, and welcoming environment for staff.

* Basic Qualifications:

*
* -  Must be 18 years of age or older

-  No high school diploma, GED or college degree required

** Key Responsibilities*
* + Operate floor care equipment such as auto scrubbers, buffers, burnishers, and extractors.

+ Sweep, mop, strip, wax, and polish various types of flooring (tile, carpet, concrete, etc.).

+ Perform routine and deep cleaning of high-traffic areas.

+ Follow safety procedures and use appropriate signage to prevent accidents.

+ Maintain equipment and report any malfunctions or needed repairs.

+ Replenish supplies and ensure storage areas are clean and organized.

+ Work collaboratively with custodial and maintenance teams.

+ Always adhere to security and safety protocols.

* Qualifications:

* + Previous floor care or janitorial experience preferred.

+ Ability to operate and maintain floor care equipment.

+ Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.

+ Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

* + Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-traffic environment.
