We are seeking an experienced Urgent Care Physician Assistant for a 36-day locum tenens assignment in Texas. This role begins on Mar 2, 2026, and features 12-hour shifts with a rotating schedule from Monday to Sunday. The ideal candidate will have 3-6 years of family practice, emergency medicine, or urgent care experience and must be confident in treating children under 3 months old.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Provide patient care in a typical urgent care setting
• Perform laceration closures and incision and drainage procedures
• Read and interpret X-rays and EKGs
• Care for children under 3 months old
• Apply experience in work-related injuries; DOT certification is a plus

Additional Information

• Must hold a current Texas license
• 3-6 years of experience in family practice, emergency medicine, or urgent care required
• Familiarity with work compensation cases is advantageous
• Board certification in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Urgent Care required
