Neonatology Physician

An exciting Neonatologist locum opportunity is available in Wichita Falls, Texas, offering competitive payrates (all-inclusive) along with comprehensive malpractice coverage and complimentary travel and lodging. You ll be caring for newborns in a Level II Special Care Nursery, supporting infants who require specialized but community-based care allowing families to remain close during a critical time. The program is actively progressing toward a Level III NICU designation, offering a rewarding opportunity to be part of a growing and forward-moving neonatal service.

Coverage Dates (24-hour shifts 7a 7a):

• January: 1 5,

• February: 1 2
  Coverage needed ASAP with ongoing dates in 2026

Practice Highlights:

• Level II NICU and newborn nursery coverage

• 24-hour shifts with rounding plus call from home or hotel

• Collaborative, multidisciplinary care team including pediatricians, RNs, respiratory therapists, and neonatal nutritionists

Requirements:

• Board Certified in Neonatology

• Active TX license

• Clinically active within the past year

• Minimum 6 months of neonatal clinical experience
