The Registered Nurse provides expert professional nursing care; assess, plans, implements and evaluates the care rendered to patients with urgent, emergent or potential health problems. Utilizes knowledge of basic nursing principles, practices, ethics and concepts’ participates in the organization and management of the practitioner’s practice. Maintains positive relations with patients, family members, other visitors, and fellow employees.

- Start IVs
- Written and verbal communication, interpersonal skills.
- Basic organizational skills.
- Basic computer skills.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities.
- Patient assessment.
- Clinical education related to specialty.
- Principles of patient/family teaching.
Required:
- Current California RN license.
- Evidence of continuing education.
- Current ACLS and BLS issued by the American Heart Association
- Prior experience in an acute care facility or formal classroom education
Preferred:
- BSN/MSN preferred.
- Prior experience with noninvasive cardiology testing
