Job Title: Day Program Instructor Caregiver

Location: Santa Fe Springs, CA

Shift: AM – 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM

Schedule: Full‑time

Hourly Rate: $18.00–$19.00

• Support individuals with developmental disabilities to promote quality of life.
• Advocate for residents’ health, safety, and well‑being.

• Outline and prepare daily routines for clients based on Individual Program Plans.
• Assist clients with bathroom needs and changing undergarments/clothing when necessary.
• Prepare and serve daily meals and assist with cleanup.
• Support clients with daily living and vocational activities.
• Pick up and drop off clients in company vans from/from their home or facility when required.
• Participate in client assessment, planning, and evaluation processes.
• Input client notes into computer programs, review IPP goals, and communicate with supervisors as needed.
• Attend regular staff meetings and participate in continuing education and training.
• Perform other related duties or assignments as required.

• Preferred: 1 year of experience supporting adults with developmental disabilities.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must possess a valid California Driver’s License.
• Must successfully pass all pre‑employment requirements, including a background check.
• Preferred:
  Direct Support Professional Certificate years 1 & 2 or willingness to obtain within the first 6 months.
• Preferred:
  Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) or willingness to obtain within the first 6 months.
• Must have current First Aid/CPR certification.

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work both indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions.
