Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and efficient Material Handler to support our production team by ensuring the timely movement and accurate handling of materials throughout the manufacturing process. This role plays a key part in maintaining workflow efficiency, supporting production planning, and driving continuous improvement in line with established manufacturing principles.
Job Description
- Move materials between machines and workstations as part of the production process.
- Issue and transfer parts to appropriate production areas, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Assist the Production Planner and assembly stores team as needed to maintain smooth operations.
- Maintain organized and accurate records of material movements and transactions.
- Follow standard operating procedures and adhere to safety protocols at all times.
- Apply principles and tools from the Manufacturing System to support process efficiency and continuous improvement.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to address any material-related issues.
- Shift: 7:30 AM - 4PM
- Prior experience in material handling, warehouse, or production support environment is a plus.
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with inventory systems are desirable.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Physical ability to lift, move, and transport materials as required.
- Operating forklift is a mandatory requirement
- High school diploma or GED required
- $18 - $22 p er hour (Compensation will be offered within this posted range based on experience, skills, and market factors)
