OverviewThe Vice President of Ancillary Services, reporting to the COO/CNO, provides strategic and operational leadership for all ancillary departments to ensure high-quality, efficient, patient-centered care. This role partners with executive leadership to align ancillary operations with organizational goals for quality, safety, patient experience, and financial performance.
Responsibilities- Plans, organizes, and directs the operations of Ancillary services, including but not limited to departments of diagnostic imaging, laboratory, rehabilitation, respiratory services, and cardiology for both PIH Health Hospital and PIH Health Physicians.
- Ensures the effective use of all resources (human, material and financial) to create a “patients first” environment in all areas.
- Develops a clear vision for the departments in concert with the strategic goals of the health system; demonstrates a constant emphasis on superior performance and value-added strategies.
- Is highly self-directed and has the ability to drive staff ownership and accountability. This is a senior management position.
