• Collect blood samples from all age groups including neonates.
• Perform front and back office procedures and computer entry.
• Process and set up Microbiology cultures and basic lab test processing.
• Organize workload effectively in a fast‑paced setting and prioritize duties for routine and stat testing.
• Operate centrifuge and pour samples for reference lab send‑out.
• Communicate courteously and timely with patients, employees, doctors and other stakeholders.
• Complete clerical functions accurately and on time, including inventory control and file manual reports.

• High School Graduate
• Minimum 2 years Acute Hospital Experience
• Required CPR and Phlebotomy Certification/Registration

• Consistently understand, anticipate and meet the needs and satisfaction levels of patients and other customers.
• Identify and implement methods of controlling costs or generating revenue while providing maximum value to both the patient/customer and the hospital.
• Measure progress against quality goals and strive for innovative solutions to departmental problems.
