Overview
Assist in Histology section of the Pathology department under the supervision of a Histology technician or Pathologist.

- Picking up pathology specimens from various hospital locations
- Accessioning specimens (data entry) in the computer system
- Weighing specimens
- Preparing specimens for gross examination by a Pathologist
- Processing fluids for cytology
- Preparing tissues for overnight processing
- Discarding old pathology containers of specimens
- Cover slipping slides
