A company is looking for a Senior Manager, Data Engineering to lead and develop their Data Operations and Engineering team.
Key Responsibilities- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of Data Engineers while fostering a culture of ownership and continuous improvement
- Serve as the primary liaison between the Data Engineering team and other departments to translate business needs into technical requirements
- Oversee daily data operations, ensuring high uptime and compliance with healthcare regulatory requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field (Master's preferred)
- 10+ years of experience in Data Engineering, with at least 2 years in a management or technical leadership role
- Strong hands‑on experience with AWS and Azure cloud platforms and their respective data services
- Expert proficiency in SQL and Python, with experience in modern data warehousing / data lake concepts
- Demonstrable experience working with sensitive healthcare data and ensuring HIPAA compliance
