JOB OVERVIEW

Hospital and Remote Teleradiology - Coverage Type:
Clinical Only - Coverage Period: ASAP Ongoing (8-month duration)
- Clinical Shift
Schedule:
On-site daytime 8a5p;
Remote evening 4p1a (varied start times);
Remote weekends/holidays 10a12a (flexible subsets) COVERAGE DATES - Minimum 4 on-site daytime shifts per month (must include 1 full weekend and an equal share of Fridays)
- Minimum 10 remote evening shifts per month (must include 2 weekend days; flexible start times 4pm10pm)
- Minimum 3 remote weekend/holiday shifts per month (10am12am or subsets)
- Flexible scheduling with preference for candidates able to cover weekends and residing in LA/Orange Counties or PST/Hawaii time zones
- Patient Demographics:
Adult and General Radiology population - Patient Volume/Census: 6090 wRVUs/day
- Case Mix:
Diagnostic Radiology with CT, MRI, X-ray, Ultrasound, Nuclear Medicine; subspecialty reads as applicable
- EMR System: PACs (Change Healthcare), Dictation via Nuance Powerscribe One
- Specialty Backup Available:
Locum works alongside radiology team - Support Staff:
Team-based environment - Reason for Coverage:
High volume exceeding available FTEs
- Hospital Privileges
Required:
Yes - Temporary Privileges Available:
Yes - Credentialing Timeline: 1 month
- Vaccination
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
- Travel, Lodging, and Malpractice Insurance:
Not typically provided; local candidates preferred (LA or Orange Counties) - Lodging:
Candidates must reside locally to minimize travel/lodging costs - Remote candidates preferred from PST or Hawaii time zones REQUIRED PROCEDURES
- GI Fluoro studies (if on-site)
- Lumbar puncture (if on-site)
- Diagnostic reads for CT, MRI, X-ray, US, NM
- No procedures required for teleradiology
- Licenses:
Active California medical license and CA RHL required - Board:
Board Certified in Diagnostic Radiology - DEA
