Quality Supervisor
Location:
Whitstable, Kent
Salary: £30,000 per annum

Our client is a Kent-based manufacturing company with a worldwide customer base and a reputation for high-quality products used in harsh environments. Operating in competitive markets, they are committed to continuous improvement and are now seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Quality Supervisor to lead their quality initiatives.
You’ll oversee goods-inwards inspection, process control, and data analysis, driving improvements across production. This is a hands-on, shop-floor-based role requiring strong leadership and technical expertise.
Responsibilities include:
* Reducing variation through process control and quality plans
* Goods-in inspection
* Developing and maintaining quality control procedures
* Conducting audits to ensure compliance
* Analysing data to identify root causes
* Collaborating with sales to resolve customer issues
* Implementing corrective and preventative actions
* Maintaining accurate quality records
* Ensuring calibration of quality control equipment
* Leading continuous improvement projects
* Reporting on quality performance
Candidate requirements:
* BTec or higher in Engineering, Manufacturing, or Quality Management (or equivalent experience)
* Experience in manufacturing quality assurance
* Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 and quality systems
* Analytical and problem-solving skills
* Proficiency with quality control tools/software
* Excellent communication and teamwork
* Root cause analysis expertise
* Attention to detail and commitment to quality
* Knowledge of plastic moulding, press tool work, machining, and assembly operations is advantageous.
