Day-to-day of the role:

Read and adhere to all relevant documentation for plating and finishing processes.
Strictly follow company manufacturing, health & safety, and quality procedures.
Execute the production plan and maintain accurate quality records.
Identify and apply correct jigging and wiring/barrelling methods for each component.
Safely handle chemicals within the plating department.
Utilise x-ray spectrometer and other equipment to measure plating thickness and perform visual inspections.
Ensure compliance with health & safety rules and company standards.

Required Skills &

Qualifications:

Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing quality work.
Ability to follow strict processes and safety guidelines.
Willingness to learn and apply new plating techniques.
Previous experience in plating or metal finishing is beneficial but not essential.
Good hand-eye coordination.
Excellent attention to detail.
Ability to follow work instructions accurately.
Capability to meet and exceed production targets.
