Global Commissioning is a fast-growing consultancy specialising in commissioning data centres across Europe. As we continue to scale, we are looking for a commercially focused FP&A Manager to strengthen our financial planning, forecasting, and performance insight capabilities.

This is a hands-on opportunity to work closely with operational teams in a lean, high-growth SME environment.

Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will deliver clear financial insights to support strategic decision-making, improve performance visibility, and enhance financial discipline across the business.

• Support the annual budgeting process and periodic reforecasts
• Maintain rolling forecasts based on live project data
• Build long-term financial models for strategic planning
• Perform scenario planning and sensitivity analysis
• Align operational plans with financial targets

• Prepare monthly performance reports with variance analysis
• Analyse revenue, margins, overheads, and cash at project level
• Support KPI development and reporting
• Provide clear commentary and actionable insights

• Partner with Project Managers to monitor spend and performance
• Support Business Unit Directors with tenders, pricing, and contract reviews
• Provide financial modelling to support commercial decisions

• Improve reporting processes and automation
• Enhance data quality and reporting consistency
• Support finance transformation initiatives

• Qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA / CA(SA))
• 4–6 years’ experience in FP&A or commercial finance
• Strong Excel and financial modelling skills
• Experience in a fast-paced SME environment
• Strong understanding of budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow

• Detail-oriented and highly analytic
• Commercially pragmatic
• Proactive and self-sufficient
• Strong communicator with non-finance stakeholders
