Hill McGlynn Recruitment is pleased to be working with the same well-established and growing fit‑out contractor based in Whitstable, who are now looking to appoint an experienced Quantity Surveyor to strengthen their commercial team.
This role offers the opportunity to take full commercial responsibility across a range of fit‑out projects, working closely with project and site teams to ensure successful delivery from start to finish.
As a Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for the commercial management of fit‑out projects, ensuring cost control and value are maintained throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities- Full cost management of fit‑out projects
- Preparing and submitting valuations and cost reports
- Managing subcontractor procurement, payments, and accounts
- Pricing and negotiating variations and change control
- Managing risk, budgets, and forecasts
- Final accounts and project close‑out
- Working closely with project managers and site teams
- Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within the construction or fit‑out sector
- Strong commercial and contractual knowledge
- Experience managing subcontractors and client relationships
- Ability to work independently while supporting wider project teams
- Organised, detail‑oriented, and commercially astute
- Salary up to ÂŁ60,000, depending on experience
- Car allowance
