Role Summary
Coordinates shift operations, ensures production targets, equipment maintenance, and quality standards are met. This role supports team development, participates in smooth communication across shifts, and acts as a bridge between the production team and management.
Job DetailsPosition Type: Full-Time/Hourly (Non-Exempt)
Work Location: Onsite – Whitewater, WI
Supervise and coordinate daily shift activities to ensure efficient production.
Perform equipment setup, maintenance, and troubleshooting to resolve technical and quality issues.
Assist with machinery operation as needed to support production flow.
Ensure accurate and timely completion of production records and documentation.
Maintain communication between shifts and with management to ensure continuity.
Reassign team members as needed to meet production demands or cover absences.
Inspect materials, products, and machinery to ensure quality standards are met.
Lead process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce waste.
Train and mentor team members, helping to interpret processes and contributing to efficiency improvements.
Support daily operations of the Forming team, assigning tasks and providing technical guidance.
Assist with performance management and employee relations, including overseeing timekeeping and addressing disciplinary matters as needed.
Assist with data collection and reporting on production metrics.
Follow all Safety, Environmental and Quality policies and procedures.
Perform all other duties as assigned.
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent. Trade school preferred.Experience:
Typically requires 6+ years of relevant experience.
Machine operation
Production support and scheduling
Process management
Strong comprehension of complex blueprints and the ability to apply them in a practical setting.

Must be able to lift up-to 50 pounds repeatedly.
Required to stand for extended periods.
Must be able to push/pull objects up to 50 pounds.
