Responsibilities
Monday-Friday: 10:00AM Start Time. Must be flexible as operations run 24/7, weekends, overnights, and holidays.
Pay rate: $24.00-$27.00/hr DOE.
Position Responsibilities:
* The Maintenance Mechanic troubleshoots equipment problems and performs immediate repairs and preventative maintenance on equipment
* As a Maintenance Mechanic, you will perform equipment change-overs, production line set ups and record repairs, maintenance, parts, materials used, and rebuild and fabricate parts
* The Maintenance Mechanic utilizes work orders for the requisition of new parts and materials as needed through a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)
* Maintenance Mechanics will also perform maintenance inclusive of the Automated Storage and Retrieval System (ASRS) if a manufacturing plant and distribution center have such a system
* Ensure the safety needs are given a top priority in operations support and work execution
* Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Required
Education and Experience:
* High School Diploma or General Education Degree and 1 to 2 plus years of related experience
Preferred
Education and Experience:
* Electrical Certification or Vocational Certification
