As we continue to expand our presence in both the residential real estate and commercial lending markets, we are seeking an experienced Commercial & Mortgage Loan Officer to join our dynamic lending team.
About the RoleThis unique position provides the opportunity to work across both commercial and residential lending. The successful candidate will support FCCU's strategic growth by originating, underwriting, and closing quality mortgage loans and commercial credit relationships.
Key Responsibilities- Develop, grow, and manage a portfolio of commercial and residential mortgage loans.
- Build strong relationships within the community to identify lending opportunities.
- Assist members throughout the loan process, ensuring a positive, consultative borrower experience.
- Evaluate creditworthiness and prepare loan presentations.
- Maintain compliance with all lending policies, regulations, and credit union standards.
- Collaborate with internal partners to support FCCU's lending and growth objectives.
- Experience in the mortgage lending industry.
- Experience in commercial lending, including credit analysis and relationship management.
- Strong communication and member‑service skills.
- Ability to build rapport and cultivate business within the community.
- Self‑motivated, detail‑oriented, and comfortable working in a fast‑paced environment.
