The College of Education and Professional Studies (CoEPS) at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater seeks a professional staff member in the area of graduate and post-baccalaureate student recruitment and admissions.
This is a full-time, one-year fixed-terminal position.

Job Summary:
Responsibilities are focused on supporting recruitment efforts, licensure admissions checks and documentation for post-baccalaureate and graduate licensure programs. The successful candidate will collaborate with faculty coordinators of our post-baccalaureate and graduate programs to bolster recruitment efforts, support students through the admissions process, and track student fulfillment of teacher licensure requirements. The candidate will be expected to interact with school district partners including visits to schools, which may include conference attendance and/or evening meetings.
The candidate will collaborate closely with the CoEPS administrative team and Graduate Studies and Continuing Education. The candidate will be expected to participate in college administrative team meetings, committees, and activities, and embrace the principles of inclusion and belonging as a member of the university community.
Responsibilities:
Under the direction of the assistant dean for student success this position will work closely with the College of Education and Professional Studies administrative team including: the office of clinical experiences, certifying officer and academic advisors. This position will lead communication, recruitment and retention efforts for post-baccalaureate and graduate programs including communication with prospective students, collaboration with faculty coordinators to ensure clear understanding of program goals, and partnership with undergraduate/graduate studies admissions offices to confirm applications are processed and lead to successful enrollment in programs.
Prepare student records for enrollment: including but not limited to transcript review, GPA calculations, and criminal background checks. Maintain a licensure database of statutory requirements for all graduate and post-bacc students. Support retention in programs through advising, registration support, and sharing follow-up communications with faculty coordinators.
All students, faculty, and staff are required to ensure their materials are digitally accessible and utilize standard technology platforms supported by UW-Whitewater. Examples include, but are not limited to, Navigate, Canvas, and Microsoft Office applications - including Outlook, which is essential for university email communications and scheduling.
