** The Department of Accounting in the College of Business at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater seeks an Accounting Lecturer (TL020) beginning August 2026. This is a full-time renewable nine-month appointment.
** Job Details:
** The successful candidate will be able to teach a variety of accounting courses as part of the undergraduate accounting program, depending on the needs of the department. Teaching load is 4 classes per semester. Office hours and service commitments are also required.##

Job Responsibilities:

** Full-Time teaching responsibilities include teaching four courses per semester in our undergraduate program. Service responsibilities may include committee work and/or student organization advising, as well as participation in community organizations and the discipline as relevant to the candidate’s expertise and interest. Lecturers at UW-W may be required to teach in a variety of formats, including in-person, online and/or in a hybrid format.

All students, faculty, and staff are expected to ensure their materials are digitally accessible and utilize standard technology platforms supported by UW-Whitewater. Examples include, but are not limited to, Navigate, Canvas, and Microsoft Office applications – including Outlook, which is essential for university email communications and scheduling.

** The minimum starting salary for this position will be $74,000, candidates can expect a salary commensurate with the candidate's education, related experience, and qualifications.

* Professional experience in accounting
