The Opportunity:

WSP is currently seeking a highly motivatedIntermediate Materials Technician to join our Ground Engineering and Materials Team based Whitehorse, YT. This position is available in our Whitehorse office and laboratory. As an Intermediate Materials Technician, you will join our highly successful team, using your skills to assist in the management and execution of various high-profile and critical projects throughout the Yukon.WSP

What you can expect to do here:

You’ll be working with interdisciplinary project teams on challenging assignments that push your technical skills to the next level. This role offers exposure to both field and laboratory environments, with opportunities to collaborate with experienced engineers and technicians.

Leading and performing material testing field assignments, including soil and concrete testing works throughout Whitehorse and across the Yukon.

Act as the main point of contact for operations at our Whitehorse laboratory, including our soil and concrete testing regime, and test results reporting;
