Head of Projects

We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Head of Projects to join a major nuclear civil infrastructure programme based in Whitehaven. This strategic leadership role will oversee the successful delivery of a portfolio of complex, high-value projects, ensuring alignment with client objectives, regulatory requirements and organisational goals while driving excellence in governance, safety and project performance.

This position would suit a highly experienced senior project leader with a strong background delivering large-scale civil infrastructure projects, ideally within nuclear or other highly regulated sectors. It will appeal to someone who enjoys operating at a strategic level, leading high-performing teams and managing complex stakeholder relationships across major infrastructure programmes.

Key Responsibilities

* Provide strategic leadership and oversight across a portfolio of nuclear civil infrastructure projects

* Lead and support Senior Project Managers, Design Managers and delivery teams to ensure successful project delivery

* Establish strong project governance, reporting structures and performance monitoring across the programme

* Act as the senior interface with clients, regulators, contractors and government bodies

* Oversee commercial performance, project budgets and risk management across multiple projects

In return you'll receive a salary up to £100k plus £6,900 car allowance, 25 days holiday, up to 8% company pension contribution and private medical insurance.
