Cs&A Design Engineer

About the Roles

TDA is seeking experienced CS&A Engineers to join the TDA Project team  have opportunities at two levels:

• CS&A Design Engineer: Focused on producing and managing design deliverables, including drawings, technical specifications, and feasibility documentation.
• Senior CS&A Design Engineer: Provides oversight and guidance on design and site activities, approves technical deliverables, and applies lessons learned to ensure safe and compliant project delivery.

• Produce or review NFRs, feasibility documents, drawings, and technical specifications.
• Undertake and supervise site surveys to inform design development.
• Manage design documentation and maintain configuration control of engineering deliverables.
• Liaise with multi-disciplinary teams and stakeholders to ensure compliance with regulations.
• Provide technical input to Design and Constructability Reviews.
• Report progress and technical updates to the Project Engineering Manager.
• (Senior Role Only) Approve Technical Queries (TQs), sign-off construction orders, oversee site works, and mentor junior engineers.

• HNC/HND or equivalent in Mechanical, Civil, or Structural Engineering.
• Strong plant knowledge and experience working in operational environments.
• Experience using CIMAGE on the SL System.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD, Navisworks, 3D scanning
  , or related tools.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
• Must hold SC clearance

• Full-time, 40 hours per week (Monday–Friday).
• Flexible working arrangements with a minimum of 3 days per week on-site at Whitehaven or Sellafield.
