Enhanced Provision HLTA at The Whitehaven Academy

Hours of work: 37 hours per week. Working pattern:
Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 4.30pm. Term weeks: 38 + 2 weeks school closure, minimum paid week 45.797.

• Hold HLTA accredited status, QTS or willingness to work towards this.
• Have a good understanding of child development and learning processes.
• Have experience of working with small groups of students to support their learning.
• Have experience of working alongside staff to plan, resource and deliver high-quality intervention sessions.
• Have the drive, initiative and ability to respond quickly to further developments in the provision of learning support in schools.
• Have excellent inter-personal skills and be able to communicate effectively with young people and educational professionals.
