Yard Technician - Whitefish, MT

REIC Rentals is hiring a Yard Technician in Whitefish, MT.

We are looking for someone experienced in troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues and passionate about safety, quality and customer service.

As a Yard Technician, your responsibilities will include meticulously washing and detailing rental equipment before delivery, inspecting small equipment for quality, managing the hookup and receiving of trailers or smaller rented items, and enhancing the overall visual appeal of the yard.

REIC Rentals is a fast-growing, elite equipment rental company with 55+ locations across North America. We operate under several brand names including Midway Rental, Pro Rentals and Sales, Excavator Rental Service, Black Mountain Rental, and Aim High Equipment Rentals.

• Prepping the yard for opening and closing of business
• Loading and unloading equipment and communicating rental details with the Rental Coordinator
• Washing and making any necessary repairs to returned equipment to ensure it is rent-ready
• Assisting with the appearance, organization, and arrangement of equipment in the yard

This is a full-time position
. The typical schedule is Monday through Friday from 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM
, with rotational Saturdays from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM (generally every other week, with rare instances of two Saturdays in a row).

• A valid driver's license, acceptable driving record, and reliable transportation
• Ability to meet all drug and alcohol testing requirements and commit to a drug-free workplace
• Ability to pass forklift, AWP, and propane training tests
• A strong focus on safety

• Ability to take instruction and understand goals and processes
• Ability to work fluctuating schedules, including some Saturdays
• Ability to complete other duties as assigned
• Ability to comprehend job-related duties in both verbal and written formats
• Comfortable working with limited supervision at times

• Ability to stand for extended periods of time
• Ability to walk, bend, lift, push, pull, and reach throughout the shift
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds multiple times per shift

• Standing: 50%
• Walking: 45%
• Sitting: 5%
