About the role
Custom Koncepts is seeking an experienced and motivated Automotive Technician to join our team. The Custom Koncepts Technician is responsible for the professional installation of aftermarket automotive accessories and 12-volt systems on customer-owned and company vehicles. This role is ideal for a hands-on technician who takes pride in craftsmanship, works efficiently, and delivers a high-quality customer experience.
What you’ll do:- Install a wide range of aftermarket automotive accessories, including lift/lowering kits, suspension components, off-road/auxiliary lighting.
- Perform all installations according to manufacturer specifications, safety standards, and company quality guidelines.
- Install and troubleshoot 12-volt automotive electronics, including T-harness remote start systems, audio upgrades, cameras, head units.
- Maintain clean wiring practices and proper system functionality.
- Mount, balance, and install new, aftermarket, takeoff, and accessory wheels and tires.
- Identify and communicate compatibility concerns prior to installation and perform final quality checks.
- Work closely with sales and operations teams to review work orders and resolve installation challenges.
- Proven experience installing automotive accessories and/or 12-volt systems.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and working knowledge of vehicle systems.
- Ability to read and follow installation and wiring diagrams.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Ability to manage multiple work orders in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with suspension modifications, lift kits, and custom wheel fitments.
- Experience with mobile electronics and audio systems.
- ASE or other relevant automotive certifications.
