Merchandiser Travel Retail Ser Lead is responsible for representing Acosta, our clients, and our customers by effectively leading a team and performing reset and remodel work, including implementation of plan‑ograms, new item placement, void corrections, and special merchandising activity. The ideal candidate is a self‑starter, quick learner, with strong attention to detail, and works well both in a team and independently.

They must possess excellent organizational and communication skills and the ability to build relationships with business partners.

• Serve as a team lead in the organization and execution of reset and remodel work, partnering with store personnel for scheduling and communication.
• Read and follow a plan‑ogram to complete reset and remodel work, using a working knowledge of merchandising and retail terminology.
• Partner with store personnel and co‑workers to achieve and maintain merchandising excellence, discuss changes, and build effective working relationships.
• Effectively and accurately prepare, process, submit, and manage documentation related to assigned reset and remodel work.
• Perform job safely, demonstrating full awareness of surroundings, using proper safety techniques and equipment, and proactively alerting management to any unsafe act or condition.
• Understand and follow all Acosta policies and standard operating procedures.
• Other duties as assigned.

• High School Diploma/GED (some experience may be substituted).
• 3+ years of supervisory/management experience with authority to direct and oversee daily work activities.
• 3+ years of Customer Service experience preferred.
• Prior sales agent, retail, and reset responsibility experience preferred.
• Comfortable utilizing technology (smartphones, computer, copier/fax, handheld devices).
• Strong demonstration of core competencies: quality commitment, detail orientation, customer service, communication skills, and effective use of web‑based applications for work availability, assignment handling, mileage, expenses, time, and training.

• Work in cold environmental conditions (refrigerated and freezer sections of retail stores) for limited periods.
• Must possess strong interpersonal, organizational, decision‑making, and leadership skills.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and be able to drive for extended periods.
• Travel is required, with overnight stays up to 75‑100% of the time; occasional weekend work also required.
• Employees must be at least 21 years of age to obtain necessary credentials for travel.
