Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Travel Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse for a night shift assignment in White Plains, NY. This role supports a busy obstetrical service and includes patient education and coordination responsibilities aligned with the Obstetrical Nurse Navigator model.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to obstetrical patients during labor, delivery, and postpartum periods

• Serve as a clinical liaison for obstetrical patients and families

• Educate patients and families on the labor and delivery process and hospital birthing experience

• Address individualized patient needs and concerns

• Coordinate and support Parent and Sibling education classes offered through the facility

• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary obstetrical care team to ensure high-quality patient outcomes

Requirements:

• Active New York RN license (required at submission)

• Minimum of 2 years of recent Labor & Delivery RN experience

• Required

Certifications:

- BLS (AHA)
- ACLS
- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)

• EMR

Experience:

Epic

• BSN Required

• Flu and COVID vaccinations required (no exemptions)
