Position Overview:

We are seeking an Installation & Contract Department Leader to oversee the day‑to‑day operations and continued growth of our Installation Division. This leadership role manages the department’s Sales, Project Management, Assistant Project Management, and Field Operations teams, while maintaining close coordination with Engineering to ensure technical accuracy, schedule adherence, and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide leadership, direction, and support to Sales, Project Managers, Assistant PMs, and Field Technicians.
  • Oversee all active and upcoming installation projects — from estimating and design coordination through installation, commissioning, and close‑out.
  • Partner closely with Engineering to ensure designs, submittals, and as‑builds align with installation requirements.
  • Manage department financial performance including backlog, revenue forecasts, margins, and labor utilization.
  • Develop and implement standard operating procedures that improve consistency, communication, and accountability.
  • Drive collaboration across departments (Engineering, Service, and Administration) to align on priorities and deliverables.
  • Mentor, coach, and develop team members, creating a culture of growth, empowerment, and excellence.
  • Lead recruiting, onboarding, and training initiatives for field and project staff.
  • Serve as the primary escalation point for customers and internal stakeholders on large or strategic projects.

Qualifications:

  • 7–10+ years of progressive experience in security integration, low‑voltage, or electrical construction, including project management and team leadership.
  • Demonstrated success managing project delivery from design through close‑out.
  • Proven ability to lead and develop multi‑disciplinary teams while managing competing priorities.
  • Strong understanding of financial metrics — project margins, backlog, forecasting, and labor performance.
  • Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills across all levels of the organization.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and general project management or ERP tools.

Preferred:

  • Experience overseeing both office and field teams in a construction or technology environment.
  • Familiarity with access control, video surveillance, intrusion detection, and related security technologies.
  • Prior experience coordinating with engineering or design teams on large‑scale technical projects.

Benefits:
