Guardianship Paralegal

Job Description

White Plains Boutique Elder Law Firm is currently seeking a skilled paralegal with experience in Article 81 Guardian ships and Estate Administration. The ideal candidate will possess the following qualities:

• Ability to work in a task-focused environment with a keen sense of urgency
• Experience with collaborating with clients and attorneys to determine and implement the best plan for our clients
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Skilled at multi-tasking with a high degree of efficiency
• Strong communication skills
• High degree of professionalism and confidentiality when handling sensitive information

• Handling all aspects of Article 81 Guardian ships, especially e-filing and service of process;
• Preparation and filing of New York Estate Administrations, Probate and Trust Administrations
• Establish and maintain paper and electronic files according to current firm policies utilizing the firm’s record protocol procedures and document management system
• Other duties as assigned
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office 365- including Word and Outlook
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills; experience speaking with clients.
• Undergraduate degree and paralegal certification (or equivalent)
