Associate Attorney

A fast growing defense litigation firm in White Plains, NY is seeking an experienced General Liability Attorney to join its dynamic team. • Handle a diverse caseload of general liability matters from inception through resolution
• Conduct depositions, court appearances, and motion practice
• Draft pleadings, legal memoranda, and reports to clients and carriers
• Participate in settlement negotiations and mediations
• Communicate proactively with clients, opposing counsel, and internal team members
• Develop litigation strategies and provide risk assessments to clients

• J.D. from an accredited law school
• Admission to the New York State Bar
• 3+ years of general liability or broader defense litigation experience
• Strong writing, analytical, and verbal communication skills
• Ability to manage cases independently and effectively
• Experience with depositions, motion practice, and court appearances preferred

• The annual salary for this position is between $130,000 – $200,000. Factors which may affect pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
