Corporate Associate Attorney

Bleakley Platt & Schmidt, LLP, is seeking an experienced corporate associate attorney. The firm is over 89 years old with a well-established reputation as a preeminent law firm serving the Hudson Valley region. This is a partnership track position.

The successful candidate would assist in all aspects of the firm’s Corporate Practice Group. The Group represents clients in diverse industry sectors on matters relating to corporate formation, partnership and LLC matters, finance and venture capital, governance and compliance, complex commercial contracts, and mergers, acquisitions and restructurings. The position has a particular focus on representing clients in the health industry, including hospitals, large physician and other professional practice companies, pharmacies, clinical laboratories, and medical suppliers.

It also involves working as outside counsel for several long-term clients.

Excellent academic credentials and at least two years of experience is required. This position is ideal for a dynamic corporate attorney who possesses excellent legal and interpersonal skills and wishes to practice corporate law at a high level in a collegial atmosphere.

Compensation will range between $140,000 - $180,000 per annum commensurate with experience, plus potential performance-based bonuses. The Firm offers competitive benefits.
